FAQs
Is travel as a woman, solo or with a group permissible?Absolutely yes! While past Islamic interpretations restricted women from traveling alone, scholars explain that these were based on safety concerns, not an absolute prohibition. When travel is safe—such as through airports or in groups—Islam permits women to travel without a Mahram. This interpretation aligns with prophetic traditions and the evolving context of security and travel. Many scholars, both classical and modern, support this position, especially for obligatory pilgrimages like Hajj.
Why should I travel?We believe in the power of travel as a form of renewal. Stepping away from routine and immersing yourself in new environments can deepen your connection with Allah, bring clarity to your intentions, and create space for rest in a way that everyday life often doesn’t allow. Our experiences are designed to nurture that balance exploration and stillness, independence and community.
Would non-Mahram be there?While public environments cannot be gender-controlled, the experience itself is intentionally structured for Muslim women, with respect for hijab, modesty, comfort, and Islamic boundaries at the center of everything we do.
